Training will offer:
4 NATE CE hours credit.
- Field training course with lecture/discussion/demonstration and hands on participant brazing.
- Brazing and soldering basics – preparation, (cutting cleaning, reaming, etc.)
- Brazing and soldering equipment – oxy/acetylene & air-fuel operation and safety.
- Importance of nitrogen purging during brazing
- Common brazing and soldering filler metals
- Aluminum brazing and soldering products
- Fluxes – types, purpose, application
- Heating technique and filler metal application
